NB All Freeview set top boxes
and all digital TV's are fully authorised and setup to recieve all Mainland TV's
10 TV channels and radio stations. Mainland TV has an agreement with Freeview
so we are all on the same digital platform using the same compatable
systems with allocated channels by the World digital body.
Although the biggest
Freeview, is just one of a number of digital free to air promoters and they do
not control all the specifications, own any TV stations or channels or allocate
UHF TV licenses or frequencies.
There are 19 Radio stations and numerous WIFI providers that use the same sites as Mainland TV broadcasts from. The Radio transmitters are all FM and have a range of approx 60km's.
